What are additives?

Whether in the oil, fuel or cooling system: Due to the many different processes that take place during vehicle operation, deposits form over time on various components, e.g. on the valves or in the combustion chamber. This leads to poor functioning of expensive components and often to a loss of performance. Liqui Moly additives not only remove the dirt from the system, but also prevent its formation in a preventive manner.

Additives can prevent and solve many problems such as irregular engine operation, fuel aging, leaks in the oil or coolant circuit and much more. Because their effect cleans, seals and reduces wear, they are the first choice in case of problems or to prevent their occurrence.

Unlike brakes or seat belts, additives do not have a direct influence on driving safety. However, they generally make a decisive contribution to the reliability and operational safety of individual components as well as your vehicle as a whole.

Thanks to their problem-solving properties, additives are often a cost-effective alternative to expensive repairs or the replacement of individual components. They also provide preventive protection against wear and costly damage, thus increasing the service life of powertrains or components. Their cleaning effect also reduces fuel consumption: Clean engines burn fuel more efficiently and thus make optimum use of the energy it contains. Compared to a dirty engine with deposits, they consume less fuel, which also contributes to a reduction in CO2 emissions.
